    Acceptable Use Policy

    1. Introduction

    This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing how you may use the TRM FLEX platform ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

    TRM Flex Ltd is registered in England and Wales. This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, including the Computer Misuse Act 1990, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and the Communications Act 2003.

    2. Permitted Use

    The Platform is provided for the following lawful purposes:

    • Clients: planning, organising, and managing event operations, workforce coordination, and supplier engagement.
    • Workers: browsing and accepting self-employed contractor engagements, managing availability, and processing invoices.
    • Suppliers: listing services, responding to briefs, and managing event-related supplier commitments.

    3. Prohibited Conduct

    You must not use the Platform to:

    1. Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity.
    2. Transmit or upload any material that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or which promotes violence or hatred.
    3. Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
    4. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other users' accounts, or connected systems (Computer Misuse Act 1990, s.1–3).
    5. Introduce viruses, malware, trojans, worms, or any other malicious or technologically harmful material.
    6. Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform by automated means without express written permission.
    7. Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam) in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
    8. Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Platform.
    9. Engage in any activity that could damage, overburden, or impair the Platform's infrastructure.
    10. Use the Platform to facilitate any arrangement that misrepresents employment status or seeks to circumvent tax obligations (IR35, Employment Rights Act 1996).

    4. Content Standards

    Any content you submit, upload, or share on the Platform must:

    • Be accurate, genuine, and not misleading.
    • Comply with applicable UK law and any law in the jurisdiction from which it is posted.
    • Not infringe any intellectual property right, privacy right, or other right of any third party.
    • Not contain personal data of any third party without their consent (UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018).

    5. Account Responsibilities

    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
    • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
    • You must not share your account credentials with any other person.
    • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering and maintaining your account.

    6. Enforcement

    If we determine, at our sole discretion, that a breach of this AUP has occurred, we may take one or more of the following actions:

    • Issue a warning to the offending user.
    • Temporarily or permanently suspend access to the Platform.
    • Remove any content that violates this policy.
    • Report the matter to relevant law enforcement authorities or regulatory bodies.
    • Commence legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs resulting from the breach.

    7. Reporting Violations

    If you become aware of any misuse of the Platform or any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at hello@trmflex.com.

    8. Changes to this Policy

    We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

    9. Governing Law

    This AUP is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
