    Equality & Diversity Policy

    Last updated: 2 April 2026

    1. Our Commitment

TRM Flex Ltd ("the Company") is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across all aspects of our platform and operations. We believe that a diverse and inclusive environment benefits everyone — clients, contractors, suppliers, and the wider events industry.

This policy is guided by the Equality Act 2010 and reflects our legal and moral obligations to prevent discrimination and promote equal opportunity.

    2. Scope

    This policy applies to:

    • All users of the TRM FLEX platform (clients, contractors, suppliers, members).
    • All employees and directors of TRM Flex Ltd.
    • All interactions conducted through or in connection with the Platform.

    3. Protected Characteristics

Under the Equality Act 2010, we are committed to preventing discrimination on the grounds of:

    • Age
    • Disability
    • Gender reassignment
    • Marriage and civil partnership
    • Pregnancy and maternity
    • Race (including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin)
    • Religion or belief
    • Sex
    • Sexual orientation

    4. Platform Standards

We expect all platform users to:

    • Treat all individuals with dignity and respect.
    • Not discriminate, harass, or victimise any person based on a protected characteristic.
    • Make engagement decisions based on skills, experience, availability, and suitability — not on personal characteristics.
    • Report any instances of discriminatory behaviour.

    5. Self-Employed Contractor Model

All contractors on TRM FLEX operate as self-employed individuals. While the Equality Act 2010 primarily governs the employer–employee relationship, we extend our commitment to equal treatment across all platform interactions. We will not tolerate discriminatory conduct from any user, regardless of their contractual status.

    6. AI and Algorithmic Fairness

Where AI or algorithmic tools are used on the Platform (e.g., matching, recommendations, qualification scoring), we are committed to:

    • Ensuring these tools do not produce discriminatory outcomes.
    • Regular review and testing of AI outputs for bias.
    • Human oversight of all AI-assisted decisions that materially affect users.

For more detail, see our AI Policy.

    7. Accessibility

We are committed to making the TRM FLEX platform accessible to all users. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and continuously improve our platform's accessibility.

    8. Reporting Discrimination

If you experience or witness discriminatory behaviour on the Platform, please report it to us immediately:

All reports will be investigated promptly and confidentially. We will take appropriate action, which may include suspension or removal from the Platform, in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.

    9. Review

This policy is reviewed annually and updated to reflect changes in law, best practice, and our business operations.

    10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, including the Equality Act 2010.
